Cement Traceability and Digital Product Passports
Cement products require a reliable system of identification and traceability at every stage of movement: from production and laboratory quality control to warehouse storage, shipment, distribution, and use on a construction site.
The WebRozum Original system makes it possible to create digital passports for cement bags, big bags, pallets, batches, and shipments. A unique QR code, Data Matrix code, barcode, or RFID tag links the physical product to a digital record in the manufacturer’s system.
What tasks the system solves for cement production
- traceability of a cement batch from production to final delivery;
- control of production date, shift, line, warehouse, and shipment route;
- linking to laboratory test results, quality certificates, and technical documentation;
- fast processing of claims and identification of problematic batches;
- control of print orders and bag production at the printing facility;
- control of shipments of bags, big bags, pallets, and transport units;
- brand protection against counterfeiting, repacking, and unauthorized circulation;
- providing dealers, builders, and buyers with a digital service for control and accounting, as well as prompt and up-to-date product information.
Cement marking
Depending on the type of packaging and the production process, different marking options can be used: printing a code on the bag in pre-printed production runs with unique codes, printing a code before filling at the production site, applying a label to a big bag, using a pallet label, group marking of a shipment, or applying an RFID tag for automated warehouse and logistics accounting.
For a consumer or construction company, a QR code can open a product web passport with extended information about the cement, batch, certificates, application recommendations, and confirmation of originality. In addition to product information, the web passport of a cement batch can become an element of the BIM model and the digital documentation of the construction project.
Integration with production accounting
The traceability system can be integrated with ERP, MES, warehouse management systems, weighing equipment, industrial scanners, label printers, and data collection terminals. This makes it possible to automate the registration of production, movement, picking, shipment, and product verification.
WebRozum Original creates a digital environment in which each product unit, batch, or logistics unit receives its own identification and movement history.
