Digital Product Passport and Product Serialization

Each product unit can be assigned a unique serial number and an individual QR code linked to its digital web passport. After scanning the code, a consumer, retailer, distributor or manufacturer representative can access up-to-date information related to that specific product unit.

The web passport may include the product name, manufacturer, production date, batch number, expiration date, origin information, storage conditions, certificates and other data that the manufacturer considers important for consumers and business partners.

Serialization and Product Tracking

Unique identification makes it possible to move from batch-level tracking to individual product unit tracking. The serial number can be used during production, warehousing, shipment and sales, creating a digital history of the product throughout its lifecycle.

The system can be integrated with production and warehouse management software, ERP, MES, WMS and other enterprise information systems. This makes it possible to connect the digital product passport with actual production data and gradually build end-to-end product traceability — from manufacturing to the final consumer.
