Two-label set

The set may include two linked labels intended for different areas of the package or different levels of product identification. Preparation of data for printing

Once the project structure has been approved, a dataset of unique codes and print variables is generated. The information is supplied to the selected printing company or in-house production unit in a format compatible with its equipment, software and variable data printing workflow.

The print data package may include:

  • human-readable identifiers;
  • serial numbers;
  • batch or production lot numbers;
  • links between the two labels in each set;
  • technical fields for print control and subsequent verification;

Digital product passport for pharmaceutical products

Each unique QR code can link to the digital product passport of a specific package in the Original.Webrozum system. The content of the digital product passport is configured individually and may include:

  • product name and description;
  • manufacturer and authorised representative details;
  • batch or serial number;
  • manufacturing and expiry dates;
  • instructions for use;
  • storage and transport requirements;
  • certificates and regulatory documents;
  • warnings and other important information;
  • manufacturer contacts and a feedback form.

Product authentication and analytics

After scanning the QR code, the user can access product information and check the status of the individual package. Depending on the project configuration, the system may record the number of scans, date and time, approximate location and other relevant parameters.

This analytics can help identify:

  • multiple scans of the same code in different locations;
  • possible code copying or unauthorised replication;
  • reuse of packaging;
  • products appearing outside approved distribution channels;

Working with the printing company

Original.Webrozum does not require the customer to use a specific printing company or label manufacturer. Codes and print data can be prepared for the customer’s selected printing partner, provided that its equipment and software support variable data printing and can reproduce QR codes at the required quality.

Where required, project specialists can participate in agreeing technical requirements with the printing company, preparing a test code dataset, reviewing proof prints and evaluating the readability of the finished labels.

Samples and solution demonstration

Demo QR codes, a sample digital product passport and a test dataset for proof printing can be prepared upon request. A complete demonstration can also be organised, showing the full workflow from label scanning and package status verification to information display and scan analytics.

Where suitable materials are available, label samples may also be provided for testing on actual packaging. This allows the customer to evaluate label placement, application quality, QR-code readability and compatibility with the existing packaging and production process.
